Aghada Under 12 White Hurling Team took to the fields again last night, Tues Oct 9th, to face Carrigtwohill for the 2nd time this time in a league semi-final, after already securing an earlier win at home against them in the same competition. We knew that this was going to be a very tough game.

We didn't get off to as good a start as we would of liked with Carrigtwohill leading at half time. Then with some good advice from the coaches you could see the hunger and passion these lads had to win in the 2nd half. They went back on the field to play the best game of hurling so far. The lads went out fighting and never once gave up and finished with a score of 5 -7 to 3- 6.

I have to give credit also to the Carrigtwohill lads who never gave up and gave us a challenging game right to the end.

I can't put into words how proud we as coaches/mentors are of these lads and the outstanding players they have become. We now move forward to the final against Shandrum.
