Aghada U8 Blitz
Early morning on Sunday August the 19th Aghada Camogie Club hosted a mega U8 Blitz in Rostellan, where traffic management was put in place to cater for the crowds that arrived in Aghada GAA Grounds. Five clubs Ballygarvan, Inniscarra, Ballincollig, Sarsfield and Aghada provided eleven teams – who each played three games of twenty minutes of skill and thrills. Parents were very pleased to see their daughters wear the club jersey (some for the 1st time), chase after the LARGE sliothar and enjoying the challenge of trying to score.
Thanks to Jen Rutledge (Manager/Organiser) and to Urusla Day, Paula Dunne, Kevin Hegarty and Maeve Rutledge who helped with Aghada Teams. Thanks to our five Referees: Aileen Mc Grath, Mary Leahy, Aisling Gilroy, Saoirse Geary and Aine Mc Grath. Where would be without the many parents that baked, made sandwiches (including Gluten Free options) packed the 100 plus GOODY BAGS, provided teas/coffees and the kitchen staff that got to know the layout of same on their first visit to our brilliant facilities available to ALL Aghada Clubs in Rostellan.
Aghada U14 Championship Clash
Well done to Aghada U14 team with their comprehensive championship win over Sars 2 in Rostellan on Sunday Evening. Thanks to Ronan Geary, Martin Day and Liz McIntyre who train this team every Wednesday evening in Rostellan.
Aghada Camogie Trip To Croke Park
On Sunday September 9th – Aghada Camogie Club would like you to join them on the REBEL SUPPORTERS BUS travelling to Croke Park to Support Cork Senior Camogie Team as they take on Kilkenny in the All-Ireland Final. With so many East Cork Players involved in the squad and Hannah Looney Cork Dual Star from the local community, our players/supporters will enjoy this journey to the capital to see the REBELS in action. Adults €35 – U16’s €25 (if 50 travel on day), which will include Bus-Match Ticket and Meal. More details to follow.

Relay For Life – Cancer Society – Date for your Diary
Aghada Camogie Club have signed up to provide support from ALL Aghada Clubs to commit one hour of your time over the 24 hour relay walk in CBS Grounds Midleton, on Saturday 1st of September – 2nd. Time 3pm-3pm. Special Candle Bags can be purchased for €5 or donations can be made in AGHADA GAA CLUB SHOP on Mon. 20th, Wed. 22nd, Sat.25th, Mon. 27th and Wed. 29th . Contact Vera Terry 087-6489381.
