Our u12 travelled to Ballyhea for their second game in the league . Ballyhea got off the mark very quickly with 2 early goals but then we settled into the game . Our backs and mid field worked very hard to get the ball up the field and with the forwards fighting for every ball it wasn’t long before we were on even terms. Coming close to the end of the first half Ballyhea got more scores in quick succession which left the half time score 4:1 to 2:0 in favour of the home side . Our girls in the second half fought for ever ball and it was a very competitive game . 2 of our players had to come off injured mid way through the second half but the rest of the team kept on working hard and there was great camogie played by both sides . While the score line finished 7:2 to 3:0 it didn’t reflect the efforts of the team . They are making great progress . Thanks to everyone for travelling to Ballyhea.
